Michele D. Ward, 53, of Taylorville, formerly of Jeisyville, IL passed away at 12:10 P.M. Monday, July 25, 2016 at her home.

She was born in Taylorville, IL August 4, 1962 the daughter of Kenneth D. and Patricia A. (McAdams) Bandy. 

Michele was of the Methodist faith.  She graduated from South Fork Community High School.  Michele joined the U.S. Air Force for 4 years where she served as an Airman,  stationed in Germany.  Ms. Ward enjoyed camping and fishing and she loved spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are: 2 daughters, Celeste Moran of Tovey, IL., Nikki (Ward) Ivy of Madison, MO., 1 son Curtis Ward of Taylorville, IL her fiancée Bill Moran of Taylorville, IL., her father Kenneth D. Bandy of Jeisyville, IL., 3 brothers Kenneth Dale (Tamara) Bandy of Missouri, Shawn Bandy of Auburn IL., and Lynn Bandy of Springfield, IL along with a great many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Michele will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid.  Funeral  services will follow her visitation.  Burial will take place at 1:00 P.M. Saturday in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, IL.
