To those who loved him, you have my deepest sympathy in the loss of your dad. I hope you find peace. If you turn to the Bible for comfort as many do, there are a couple of scriptures that might help. One is in John chapter 11, verse 25 where Jesus told a woman named Martha who had just lost her brother in death, that He (that is Jesus) was the resurrection and that the time would come when the dead would be raised up to life. Then in Revelation 21: 1-4 is a description of a wonderful new world that your dad might see when he is brought back to life. In verse 4 it says that sorrow, sickness, and even death will be done away with. You could possible be there to greet him. I hope this helps a little. You can call me if you like.
