We are so sad about the passing of Robbie. I worked with him at CMS and always enjoyed his smiles and stories. Recently my husband saw him frequently at Kincaid school. We send our deepest condolences to you and the family. Our prayers are with you.

To my niece, Courtney:
Behind every great daughter is a truly amazing dad. —Anonymous
We now share another bond of having lost a dad, but gained another father in heaven. I can assure you that distance makes the heart grow fonder and the connection deeper.
My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.
Big Hug! Kevin

while I did not serve on the USS Sturgeon (SSN-637) with Robbie, we managed to become quick friends at the ship's reunions. We shared many of the same passions. He was a kind, caring gentleman who was a true pleasure to be around!! Fair winds and following seas, shipmate. Prayers of comfort for all of his family and friends are being lifted up! May God bless each of you.

We only met Robbie for the first time at the last Sturgeon submarine reunion . I had already left the boat when he arrived . His smile lit up the reunion and I have the 637 patch he designed sewn on my boat jacket . It like others will show our regard for shipmates . Adios amigo.

Gail & family: When my father passed, many years ago, a friend sent the following words to me. I keep them posted by my desk. I hope that you can take the same peace and comfort from them that I do.
IN MEMORIUM
In countless gentle, kindly ways he lived a sermon all his days. Believing in the folk he knew and making friends his lifetime through
Enjoying life, its works and fun, he sought the best in everyone. Living his faith from day to day, he sowed good seed along the way.
Now death has set his spirit free in fields of immortality, to claim a task of greater worth than any he had known on earth.
MISS ME BUT LET ME GO
When I come to the end of the road, and the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room. Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not for long and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared. Miss me, but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take. And each must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's plan, a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends we know, and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me, but let me go.
