Mrs. Pamela S. Katcher, 63, of Jeisyville, IL passed away at 6:10 P.M. Saturday. October 22, 2016 in Taylorville Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Springfield, IL January 18, 1953 the daughter of Edward and Janet Muench.  Pamela married John D. Katcher in 1980 in Springfield, IL.

Mrs. Katcher graduated from Springfield High School.  She worked many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse for the longest at St. Joseph’s Home in Springfield, then for a very short time at Meadow Manor before finishing her career at Taylorville Care Center.

Surviving are her husband John D. Katcher; 2 sons James Michael Katcher, Sr. and his companion Allison Wilson and Johnny Lee Katcher  along with 2 grandchildren James Michael Katcher Jr., and Evylinn Raigh Katcher all from Jeisyville, IL. Along with several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 31, 2016.  Pastor Rodney Blomquist will officiate.  Her family will greet friends from 9 to 10 A.M. at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid, IL before the service Monday.  Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid is assisting the family with arrangements.
