Mrs. Carol A. Foli-Ralph, age 69, of Kincaid IL, passed away at 12:10 pm Monday, August 8, 2016 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis MO.

She was born July 3, 1947 in Taylorville IL, the daughter of Richard and Margaret (Ariano) Foli.

Carol was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church in Kincaid where she served as bookkeeper under Father Charles Dalby and was a member of the St. Rita Alter and Rosary Society.  She graduated from Kincaid High School and attended college.  She retired from the State of Illinois Comptroller’s office after working 32 years in accounting.  She enjoyed travelling and spending time with family and friends.  She was a Democrat and a member of Christian County Board serving as the South Fork Township Clerk as well as a trustee.

Carol and Steve were married at St. Rita Catholic Church in November 2007.

She is survived by her husband Steve of Kincaid IL, a daughter Shellie (Dan) Gordon and their daughter Emma of Springfield IL,  A Brother Denny (Kathleen) Foli Kincaid IL,  3 Step- daughters Jill (Jay) Sensmeier of Owensville IN, Kelly (Tom) Dhom of Henderson KY, Robin (Adam) Pletcher of Mahomet IL, 3 Step sons Eric (Lisa) Ralph of Sherrills Ford NC, Jay (Stephanie) Ralph of Peoria IL, Adam (Molly) Ralph of Newburgh IN, 16 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers Richard and Vernon Foli and 2 sisters Margaret Banno and Leila Balke, and a niece Holli.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, August 15, 2016 in St. Rita Catholic Church.  Msgr. David Lantz will officiate.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, IL.  Visitation for Mrs. Foli-Ralph will be held from 9 to 11am Monday at St. Rita.  Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid is handling arrangements.   

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to St. Rita's Catholic Church, your favorite charity of choice or the family for help with medical expenses.
