Velma Grace (Murphy) Cloe

Mrs. Velma Grace Cloe, 94, of Kincaid, IL passed from this life at 3:51 A.M. Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Taylorville Skilled Nursing and Rehab.

She was born in Pittsfield, IL January 9, 1932, the daughter of Clifford and Ruby (Tipsword) Murphy.

Velma worked as a bartender for a great many years.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and little ones.

Surviving are her children: Ruby Rees of Kincaid, IL Janet Hill of Oklahoma, Debbie (Richard) Freeston, Cindy Andrews, Denis (Gina) Watson, Mike (Vickie) Watson all of Kincaid, IL Pat (Kathy) Watson of Georgia and Lloyd (Kathy) Watson of Florida along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jimmy Cloe in 2011, a son Gary Workman, a grandson Jesse Workman, a granddaughter Kristen Watson, 2 brothers and a sister.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Tower Hill Cemetery.  Masterson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
