Timothy L. Binegar Sr., age 71, of Kincaid, died at 8:08 a.m. Saturday December 17, 2011 at his residence.

Tim was born July 12, 1940 in Peoria, IL the son of James H. and Leona A. (Warren) Binegar. He married Ruthann Schmelzer on March 28, 1959 at St. Rita Catholic Church in Kincaid. He worked at Peabody Coal Mine #10, retiring as a boss. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America and an Associate Member of American Legion Post #905 in Kincaid. He was a member and one of the organizers of the South Fork Gun Club. Tim loved to hunt and fish.

Surviving are his wife, Ruthann; son, Timothy Binegar Jr. and wife Michelle of Mt. Vernon, IL; daughters, Laurie and husband Roscoe Kirchhoff of Bulpitt, IL and Jane and husband Terry Workman Sr. of Bulpitt, IL; grandchildren, Robert and wife Sundown Kirchhoff, Steven and wife Lisa Kirchhoff, Sarah and husband Tommy Saunders, Cassandra and husband Phil Hampton, T.J. Workman and Cory Workman; seven great-grandchildren and sister Brenda and husband Elmer Beamer of Bulpitt. His parents preceded him in death.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon Tuesday December 20, 2011 at St. Rita Catholic Church in Kincaid. Fr. Alan Hunter will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery at Taylorville.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday December 19, 2011 in Masterson Funeral Home at Kincaid. A prayer service will be held at 4:45 p.m. Monday evening.
