Ms. Sharon K. Bowman, 75, of Tovey, IL passed from this life at 6:20 P.M. Monday, September 5, 2022, at home with family beside her.

She was born in Hurst, IL February 18, 1947, the daughter of Samuel Lloyd and Doris Jeanette (Teffertillar) Thompson.

Sharon formerly worked as a caregiver for several years with the Disabled American Veterans (the D.A.V.) in Springfield, IL. She enjoyed long rides through the country, crocheting, knitting and time spent with friends and family.

Surviving are her children David Tannehill of Machesney Park, IL., Gerald D. (wife Jacqueline Kay) Tannehill of Chatham, IL., Charlene Renee Basset of Springfield, IL., and Charles Eugene Horn of Iowa, 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Lloyd Dean Thompson and his wife, Sharon’s sister-in-law, Debbie Thompson.
