Mrs. Sandra Faye Burney Lowrance, 63, of Assumption, IL passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 9:46 pm at home surrounded by family and friends.

She was born July 22, 1948, in Wright County, MO the daughter of Troy and Lola Mae (Sanders) Burney. Sandra was the oldest of 4 siblings. She married Jerry William Lowrance August 19, 1967 in the Owaneco Methodist Church.

She was a member of Owaneco Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star Tacusah Chapter #682 in Assumption.

Sandra is survived by her parents of Mtn. Grove, MO., her husband of 44 years, Jerry William Lowrance; two children: a daughter Terri Mason-Tango, of Mt. Zion, IL her children Arika, Shelby & Bo; a son Bill and wife Cari Lowrance rural Stonington, IL their children Adyson and Huck; 3 sisters Sherlyn and husband Dale Blackwell of Jonesboro, AR Glenda & husband Danny Delcour of Houston, MO and Debbie Crisp also of Jonesboro, AR along with many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held at 11:30 AM Wednesday, October 26, 2011 in Owaneco United Methodist Church. Rev. Chuck Banning friend of the family and Pastor Betty Coffey of Owaneco Methodist church officiated. A visitation was held for 1 hour prior to the service. A dinner was hosted at the church immediately following the service.
