Samuel "Sammy" J. Miloncus

Mr. Samuel J. "Sammy" Miloncus, 64, of Kincaid, IL passed from this life unexpectedly at 8:10 PM Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Taylorville Memorial Hospital, ER.

He was born in Springfield, IL. February 15, 1961 the son of Joseph Wm. and Imogene "Jean" (Bottoms) Miloncus.

Sam enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time with his family, and especially socializing with his many friends.  He graduated from South Fork High School and attended college for computers in St. Louis, MO.  He worked for I.B.M. in Atlanta, GA and then as a custodian for Rochester and later Taylorville Schools and was currently working at Phillips 66 in Kincaid.

Surviving are his siblings Paul J. Miloncus, Julia (Larry) Pearson, and Michael W. (Jeannette) Miloncus all of Taylorville, IL Joseph W. (Roxann) Miloncus of Edinburg, IL along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Louis A. Miloncus.

Public visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid.  A brief prayer service will close the visitation with cremation afterwards.  Casual attire is encouraged.  Sammy was liked by most everybody and will be sadly missed.  Memorial donations may be made to your LOCAL charity of choice "in loving memory of Sam Miloncus".
