Ruby "Colleen" Hartley

Ruby “Colleen” Hartley, 92 of Kincaid, passed away December 10, 2018 at 4:15 a.m. at Meadow Manor Nursing Home.

She was born October 8, 1926 in Benton IL, the daughter of Commie and Mae Dixon.  She married Harold W. Hartley in 1942 and they were later divorced after 43 years of marriage.  She was a member of the Bulpitt Gospel Mission and the Kincaid Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughters, Diana (Bob) Smith of Niles, OH, Barbara (Lonnie) Caulk of Springfield, IL and Mary Ann Brown of Las Vegas, NV, a son Harold F. (Tami) Hartley of Taylorville, IL, a sister Maria Cavatorta of Tovey, IL, a brother Earl Dixon of Morrisonville, IL, 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Waunita Homan and brother John Dixon, and grandsons Douglas Lash and Kevin Hickman.

Funeral Services for Colleen will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Masterson Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Kincaid, IL .  Reverend Tom Eggly will officiate.  Burial will follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens in Taylorville, IL.  Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Masterson Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Kincaid, IL.
