Neil "Allen" Ittenbach

Mr. Neil “Allen” Ittenbach, 54, of Kincaid, IL died Sunday, July 2, 2023 with family by his side at Arcadia Health Care in Jacksonville, IL.

He was born in Peoria, IL November 4, 1968 the son of Neil E. and Peggy (Niemeyer) Ittenbach.

Mr. Ittenbach enjoyed: building things, flying model airplanes, playing guitar, playing pool, gardening, wood working, machining, video games – especially X-Box with his grandson, he was an amazing cook, picky eater, played in various local bands “Excel” and “Katch 22” to name a few, he played Tuba in his high school marching band, and formerly played with the Worship Team at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mora, Minnesota.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He had been working at Mueller’s in Decatur as their Head Mechanical Engineer, and still considered himself a member of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are 2 daughters Kierstin Ittenbach of Kincaid, IL., Haylie Ittenbach of Taylorville, IL., 2 grandchildren Kash Ittenbach and Ezra Gist, his mother Peggy Frey of Taylorville, IL., a sister Janette McConnell of Taylorville, IL., and her children, Allen's niece Jessie McConnell and his nephew Brady McConnell, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, a sister Janeice, his grandparents, an aunt, a cousin and others.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Edinburg Cemetery.  Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid, IL is assisting with arrangements. Condolences may also be left at mastersonfh.com and will be printed and given to his family.
