Mrs. Shelby L. Lynn

Heaven is running more smoothly, because Shelby is there. Every angel has been greeted with a warm smile and hug; the littlest angels have been read to and made to feel special. Shelby Lee Whitnel Lynn passed away on February 22, 2021, after a long and hard-fought battle with Parkinson’s disease. She leaves behind Wilton, her devoted husband of 64 years; her daughters Gloria and Serena; her grandchildren Steve, Benjamin, and Leah; and thousands of students whose lives she touched. Shelby wouldn’t want you to mourn, but to celebrate a life well lived. Know that she will be waiting to greet you when God calls you home. You’ll know her by the many stars in her crown.
