Mrs. Letha (Beaty) Bucshon

Mrs. Letha Bucshon, 80, of Kincaid, IL passed from this life at 7:30 P.M. Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Home in Springfield, IL.

She was born in Taylorville, IL December 12, 1939 the daughter of Glen and Beulah (Wood) Beaty.  Letha married Andrew “Andy” Bucshon August 13, 1960 at First United Methodist Church in Taylorville, IL.  Andy preceded her in death May 2, 2018.

Letha was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church in Kincaid and the American Legion Post 905 Ladies Auxiliary in Kincaid.

She is survived by a daughter Susan (and her husband Lloyd) Hovey and a son Robert Bucshon all of Springfield, IL 3 grandchildren Sean Hovey, Erin (Nick) Schafer, and Morgan (Andy) Graham, a great grandchild Garrett Schafer along with a sister Aleta Kettelkamp of Nokomis, IL and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Andrew, a sister Corrine, and 2 brothers Wayne and Elmer “Ray".

A celebration of Letha and Andy’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Masterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Kincaid.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Pawnee, IL.  Visitation for Mrs. Letha Bucshon will be held from Noon to 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Masterson’s in Kincaid.  Condolences may also be left at www.mastersonfh.com which will be printed off and given to her family.
