Mrs. Helen Marie Baietto, 96, of Kincaid, IL formerly of Pawnee, IL passed away at 11:06 P.M. Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL.

Helen was born in Pawnee, IL October 31, 1919 the daughter of John Thomas and Leona (Minder) Hill, Sr. She married John Baietto June 12, 1937 in Pawnee, IL. He preceded her in death February 18, 2000.

Mrs. Baietto was a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church in Kincaid, IL. She co-owned and operated People's Market in Kincaid, IL with her husband John from 1938 to 1978 and then with her son Jack from 1978 to 1987. Helen is a former member of the St. Rita's Alter and Rosary Society and the American Legion Post 905 Auxiliary both in Kincaid, IL. Mrs. Baietto loved playing Bingo, baking deserts and playing UNO with her great grandkids. She had always looked forward to Sunday dinners with her whole family, a lifetime tradition. Helen lived at home and enjoyed life right up until her death. There was a special place in her heart for her great-grandsons.

Surviving are her Daughter Patricia Howard of Kincaid, IL grandchildren Jackie (Bob) Staff of Pleasant Plaines, IL Michael (Joni) Baietto also of Pleasant Plaines, IL., Alicia (Darren) Galloway of Pawnee, IL Kristin (Mark) Puccetti of Tovey, IL., Kelly (Dennis) Foli of Kincaid, IL and Tara Baietto of St. Louis, MO, 1 sister Betty Henson of Paris, IL 12 great-grandchildren Taylor and Lindsey Staff, Evan and Emily Baietto, Austin, Garrett and Sydney Galloway, Nicholas and Jacob Puccetti, Anthony, Michael and Carter Foli, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband John, son Jack Baietto, 2 brothers John "Tom" Hill, Jr., and Vern Hill 1 sister Dorothy Henson and a son in law Richard Howard.

Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 26, 2016 at St. Rita's Catholic Church, Kincaid, IL. Fr. Dan Willenborg will officiate. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery, rural Edinburg, IL. Visitation for Mrs. Baietto will be held from 9 to 10:45 A.M. at Masterson Funeral Home, Kincaid, Friday, the same day as the service.

Helen's family is accepting memorial donations in her memory made to St. Rita's Catholic Church, Kincaid, IL.
