Mrs. Monnie L. Watson, age 69, of Bulpitt, IL died at 2:11 a.m. Thursday, September 5, 2013 in Decatur Memorial Hospital at Decatur, IL.

Monnie was born August 24, 1944, in Portland, OR, the daughter of Russell L. and Bonnie A. Reardon Howard. She married Roy L. Watson, in Kincaid, on October 22, 1966. He preceded her in death on January 11, 1994. Monnie graduated from South Fork Community High School in Kincaid. She had worked at the Cardinal Dress Factory in Kincaid. She was a member of the Midland United Methodist Church in Kincaid and American Legion Post #905 auxiliary at Kincaid. She loved to play bingo.

Surviving are her son, Russell Watson of Bulpitt; brother Jim (Nancy) Howard of Cary, NC and several nieces nephews and cousins.

Her parents and her husband preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2013 at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid. Pastor Linda Vonck officiated and burial followed in Old Stonington Cemetery at Stonington, IL. Visitation was held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2013 in Masterson Funeral Home.
