Marlin Eugene Durbin

Mr. Marlin Eugene Durbin, 88, of Kincaid, IL formerly of the Palmer/Morrisonville area, died at home on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025, at 6:06 P.M. with family by his bed side.

He was born on Friday, August 21, 1936, the son of Marvin and Doris (Stockon) Durbin in Palmer, Illinois.

Mr. Durbin married Teena (Smith) Stevens on April 11, 2006, in Taylorville, IL.

Marlin loved his family immensely.  He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother.  He enjoyed camping and the outdoors.  He loved singing and won many karaoke contests with renditions of George Jones.  Mr. Durbin retired from Firestone Tire Manufacturing.  He will be missed by all who knew  him.

Surviving are his loving wife Teena of Kincaid, IL., his children Julie (Robert) Tindell of Morrisonville, IL., Myra (Rubert) Torres of FL., Brigette (Doug) Crawford of Morrisonville, IL., Marty (Dawn) Durbin of Morrisonville, IL., John (Jill) Durbin of Kincaid, IL., Pat (Tina) Durbin of Edinburg, IL., Marla (Ron) Smith of Taylorville, IL., Brian (Heidi) Durbin of Palmyra, IL., Jaime (Chris) Silva of Taylorville, IL., Todd (Nancy) Bergschneider of Kincaid, IL., his siblings David Durbin, Deanna (Tony) Taylor, Madalyn (Steve) Jostes, Sandy (Larry) Williams along with a great many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Mr. Marlin E. Durbin will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 9th, 2025 at Thomas Anderson Cemetery North of Palmer, Illinois.  Memorials in loving memory may be made to his family and will be designated at a later date.  Flowers may be sent to Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid before the services.  Those unable to attend may leave condolences at Mastersonfh.com
