Mrs. Marilyn L. Riva, age 59, of Belleville, IL, formerly of Kincaid, died at 2:25 a.m. Thursday October 27, 2011 in her home.

Marilyn was born October 23, 1952 in Poplar Bluff, MO the daughter of Fred and Rosalie (Saulsbery) Emerson. She married Rudy P. Riva on October 25, 1968 in Edinburg. She was a Unit Clerk at St. John's Hospital in Springfield for five or six years.

Surviving are her husband Rudy; sons, Rudy (Jennifer) Riva Jr. of Belleville, IL, Tony (Amy) Riva of Tovey, and Erin Riva of Sullivan, IL; 5 grandchildren, Gary Fairbrother, Lorin Fairbrother; Jeffrey Riva, Nikole Riva and Allison Riva.

Private family services were held.
