Obituary
Mrs. Margaret M. Puccetti, 86, of Tovey, IL passed from this life at 1:35 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2022 at home with family by her side.
She was born in Taylorville, IL the daughter of Joe and Helen (Barci) Pop, Sr. Margaret graduated from South Fork High School.
She married Albert Puccetti June 9, 1956 in Taylorville. They were looking forward to celebrating 67 years together.
Margaret retired from the State of Illinois Comptrollers Office after 24 years of service. She served more than 20 years on the Tovey Village Board. Margaret helped start the Tovey Neighborhood Watch Program. She enjoyed bringing Santa to the children of Tovey during the Holidays. Her involvement and dedication the Village of Tovey will be missed. Margaret especially enjoyed time spent with family, friends and especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are: her husband Albert “Cheesy” Puccetti of Tovey, IL., 3 sons Michael “Mickey” (Katherine) Puccetti of Girard, IL David (Kim) Puccetti of Taylorville, IL., Mark (Kristin) Puccetti of Tovey, IL 6 grandchildren Michael Puccetti, Katie (Derek) Emery, Brooke (Rob) Wangen, Matthew Puccetti, Nicholas Puccetti, Jacob Puccetti, 7 great grandchildren Bella, Ryker, Rhyett, Addison, Cole, Luke and Case along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
