Margaret Lemanski

Ms. Margaret Lemanski, 97, of Taylorville, IL passed away at 5:05 A.M. Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Taylorville Care Center.

She was born in Taylorville, IL on Monday, July 16, 1928, the daughter of John & Clara (Kolb) Lemanski.

Ms. Lemanski was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylorville.  She retired after working for over 42 years in the Christian County Treasurer’s office.

Margaret is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Rosemary, 4 brothers Frank, Donald, Bill and Robert Lemanski and 3 sisters-in-law Margaret, Shirley and Patricia Lemanski.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 2, 2026, with a Funeral Mass to immediately follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Taylorville.  Fr. Jeffery Grant will officiate.  Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville.  Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 116 W. Adams Street – Taylorville, IL 62568.  Masterson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
