Lottie Faye (Hyslope) Wilson

Ms. Lottie Faye Wilson, 78, of Taylorville, IL passed from this life at 5:16 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at home with family by her side.

She was born April 1, 1946, in Sicily, IL the daughter of James and Ethel (Meadows) Hyslope.  Lottie married William R. Wilson June 26, 1965, and he preceded her in death December 24, 2008.

Mrs. Wilson enjoyed fixing hair and doing makeup, watching Day’s of Our Lives, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  Years ago, she was known to enjoy fishing.

Surviving are her children: William (Kathryn) Wilson, Marsha Mosley and her companion Samuel Sinnard, Steve Wilson all of Taylorville, IL and Terry (Shevon) Wilson of Morrisonville, IL., a sister Della of Tennessee, along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Bill Hyslope and sisters Lois Rodden and Betty Weeden.

Visitation for Mrs. Lottie F. Wilson will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 7, 2024, at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid.  Funeral services will immediately follow with burial in Bethany Cemetery near Lake Sangchris.  Rev.
