Kristi Leigh (Davis) Schulte

Kristi Leigh Schulte, 51, of Kincaid, IL passed from this life at 7:47 A.M. Thursday, August 14, 2025 at her home in Kincaid, IL.

She was born in Springfield, IL May 14, 1974, the daughter of Larry and Helen Marie (Mink) Davis, Sr.  Kristi married Richard L. Schulte on October 9, 1999, at the Midland United Methodist Church in Kincaid.

Kristi loved floating in the pool, crafting and especially the time she spent with her grandkids.  She worked for the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office. 

Surviving are her husband Rick Schulte of Kincaid, IL a son Tobias (wife Shelby) Schulte of Illiopolis, IL a daughter Sarah (husband Noah) Cutler of Kincaid, IL grandchildren Margo and Harrison Cutler and Paisley and Riley Schulte, a brother Larry (wife Kelli) Davis, Jr. of Assumption, IL and a step sister Marsha Leach of Fayetteville, NC., along with several nieces and nephews.

Kristi was preceded in death by her grandparents and an aunt Carol Maxwell.

A memorial gathering will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid, IL.  Casual dress is requested, and those attending can show their support by wearing something yellow.  The gathering will close with a short prayer and a chance to share a memory.
