Kevin Forrest

Mr. Kevin Forrest, 69, of Decatur, IL formerly of Chicago, was called to stand before the Lord at 6:15 A.M. Tuesday, April 21st, 2026 from The Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Decatur, IL.

He was born on Sunday, September 23, 1956 in Chicago, IL the son of E. L. and Inetter (Purnell) Forrest.

Kevin was raised in Chicago, IL.  Mr. Forrest enjoyed having a good time with friends and he especially cherished his family and the times he was able to spend with them.

He is survived by a daughter Shontrale Williams, a brother Donnell (Queen) Forrest along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. 

Kevin was preceded in death by: his parents E. L. and Inetter Forrest, a son Kevin Forrest, his first love Debra Forrest, 2 sisters Diana Ard and Shirley Jean Forrest, a brother and sister-in-law Trenney and Margie Forrest and a beloved granddaughter Taylor Little.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A Celebration of His Life and Family Gathering should be announced directly to his family members and friends later this summer.  Masterson Funeral Home was honored to assist Shontrale with arrangements.  Condolences may be left here and will also be forwarded to his beloved daughter.
