Mr. Julius E. Stone, age 83, of Taylorville, formerly of Bulpitt, died at 11:20 p.m. Friday February 8, 2013 in Taylorville Care Center at Taylorville.

Julius was born July 18, 1929, in Bulpitt, the son of Enoch and Anna Dabulski Stone. He graduated from Kincaid High School, and then attended college in Springfield. He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Julius married Leah Mae Lockart on November 16, 1974 in Taylorville. She preceded him in death on October 14, 1998. He worked for Borg-Warner in Decatur until his retirement. Julius was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his brother William A. (wife JoAnn) Stone of Taylorville. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and two brothers, Anthony and Joseph Wasiloski.

Private family services were held. Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid was in charge of arrangements.
