Joseph Walker

Mr. Joseph Walker, 68, of Hillsboro, IL formerly of Bulpitt, IL Blue Eye, MO and Collinsville, IL died Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care.

He was born July 5, 1955 in Taylorville, IL the son of Ward and Loudene (Foster) Walker, Jr.

Mr. Walker honorably served 8 years in the U. S. Army.  He had last worked as a truck driver.  Joseph grew up in the Midland area living in Bulpitt.  He and his wife at the time, the former Donna Warren gave birth to a daughter Jessica.

Surviving are a daughter Jessica (husband Jimmy) Lennox, 5 grandchildren Cody Walker, Bethany and Aiden Davis, Arabella and Tommy Lennox a sister Penny (Jim) Edwards, brothers Phil (wife Leya) Walker and Jimmie Walker.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation rites were accorded.  A Graveside service with military honors will be held at 12:00 Noon Monday, May 13, 2024 at Camp Butler National Cemetery, between Springfield and Riverton, IL.  Masterson Funeral Home assisted his family with arrangements.
