Joseph Anthony Sigler

Mr. Joseph Anthony Sigler, 59, of Taylorville passed from this life at 6:05 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2024, at home.

He was born in Springfield, IL on January 2, 1965, the son of Joseph A. and Laura B. “Pat” (Brewster) Sigler, Jr.

He married Kim Ilk on March 18, 1995, in Sullivan, IL.

Mr. Sigler formerly worked as a truck driver.  He enjoyed fishing, blue crab trapping and spending time with his family and friends.  Joe grew up in the Midland Area.

Surviving are his wife Kim Sigler of Sullivan, IL a son Joseph A Sigler and his fiancée Kayla Walker of Sullivan, IL 4 daughters Laura Jean Sigler of Alabama, Jessica Ilk of Sullivan, IL Frances Bailey of Shelbyville, IL Deondra Chandler of Fulton, MO several grandchildren including Koda, Damon, Abagail, Izabella, M.J., Hunter, Olivia and Adrien, a sister Donna Sue Fitzwater of Pittsfield, IL 2 brothers James and his wife Nancy Sigler of Taylorville, IL Steven wife Mary Sigler of Midland TX along with several nieces, nephews and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A celebration of his life may be announced at a later date.  Masterson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.  Condolences may be left at mastersonfh.com.
