Janis Eileen (Kane) Keel

Mrs. Janis E. Keel, 72, of Kincaid, IL died Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Springfield, IL June 20, 1951 the daughter of Donald and Eileen (Nave) Kane.  Janis married Terry Draughan August 4, 2004 in Taylorville.

Mrs. Keel enjoyed: horses, raising birds, playing lottery, shopping and being frugal, she could talk your ear off but she especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are her husband Terry of Kincaid, IL son Ronnie Little of Springfield, IL, Karrie and her husband Scott Allen of Pawnee, IL Tamara Rozplochowski of Bulpitt, IL Kelly and her husband Michael Scoles of Taylorville, IL Nichole and her husband Todd Denning of Taylorville, IL Kristina Kline and her wife Barbara Droke of Taylorville, IL Robert and his wife Lisa Keel of Ocala, FL Maria Keel of Seattle, WA a brother Bill and his wife Shirley Kane of IL along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Judy Willis and 2 brothers Randy and Lee Kane.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
