James S. "Jim" Sexson 82 of Kincaid passed away at 5 am September 4, 2015 at the home of his daughter.

He was born April 3rd 1933 in Taylorville the son of John and Delphia (Blair) Sexson. He married Janet L. Hanlon September 9th 1972 in Springfield.

Mr. Sexson was a coalminer retiring from Freeman Crown #2 mine in Virden, IL in 1992. He loved fishing, playing pool, Dale Earnhardt, classic old cars and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Janet of Kincaid; Children Mike Sexson of Kincaid; Jerry (Tammy) Sexson of Taylorville; Gary Sexson of Kincaid; Brenda Sexson of Clarksdale IL; Mickey (Bill) Swedick of Kincaid; Step children, Kevin (Marilyn) Davis of Springfield; Tom (Karen) Davis of Booneville AR; Doris (Bob) Woods of Kincaid; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Johnny Sexson and a daughter Belinda Sexson.

Memorial services will be held 10 am Wednesday, September 9th with visitation one hour prior to services at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid.
