Ellen D. (Moore) Waschevski

Mrs. Ellen D. Waschevski, 70, of Buffalo, IL passed from this life at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 13, 2022 at home with family by her side.

She was born in Taylorville, IL February 3, 1952 the daughter of Rolly E. and Frances E. (Campbell) Moore, Sr.

Ellen married Paul Waschevski February 14, 2011 in Buffalo, IL.

Ellen was a faithful member of Grace Community Fellowship in Buffalo, IL.  She retired after 25 years from the Memorial Hospital Visiting Nurses.  Mrs. Waschevski loved spending time with family, crocheting, and reading.  And was big into “Pen Pals”.

Surviving are: Her loving husband Paul of Buffalo, IL a daughter Darlene Mills of Buffalo, IL 3 grandsons Dalton Durbin of Buffalo, IL Dustin Durbin of the Chicago area, Blake Mills of Taylorville, IL a sister Robin (Michael) Wicker of Taylorville, IL a brother Rolly E. (Diane) Moore, Jr of Palmer, IL several nieces and nephews including Mary Beth Stefanos of Jacksonville, IL and Nicholas Morehead of Decatur, IL several great nieces and great nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Masterson Funeral Home, Kincaid, IL.  Her pastor, Rev. Larry L. Hanson will officiate.  Burial will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held for one hour before her services at Masterson’s in Kincaid.
