Dorothy A. Jackson, 92, of Kincaid passed away Friday, October 11, 2013 in Springfield, IL.

Dorothy was born in Horn Beak, TN October 5, 1921 the daughter of Richard C. and Grace (Craig) Duckworth. She married James W. Jackson October 4, 1941 in St. Louis, Mo. He preceded her in death February 27, 2000.

Mrs. Jackson graduated from South Fork High School. She was a member of Midland United Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary in Kincaid, IL; the P.T.O.; the Order of the Eastern Star; the Ladies Garden Auxiliary in Taylorville, IL. Dorothy very much enjoyed being a loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving are a daughter Carol Killion of Chatham, IL one grandson Jackson James Killion of Springfield, MO a niece Teri (Tom) Rhoden of Glen St. Mary, FL and a nephew Ricky (Linda) Duckworth of Jacksonville, FL..

Her parents, husband and a brother Richard C. Duckworth preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 am Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Masterson Funeral Home, Kincaid. Rev. Linda Vonck officiated. Visitation was be held from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Masterson Funeral Home. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
