Mrs. Dorothy Aymer, 98, of Tovey, IL passed from this life on Friday, April 14, 2023 in Taylorville Care Center.

She was born in Bicknell, IN April 25, 1924 the daughter of Arthur L. and Dorothy (Wente) Bourlard, Sr. Dorothy married Paul E. Aymer in Virginia on November 12, 1948. He preceded her in death October 8, 1990.

Mrs. Aymer was a member of the Tovey United Methodist Church she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her son Randy and his wife Pamela Aymer of Kincaid, IL 2 grandsons Randy Aymer, Jr., and Wesley wife Kelly Aymer all of Kincaid, IL 3 great grandchildren Randy Aymer, III. Victoria husband Emilio Saurez, Elizabeth Aymer and a great great grandchild Silver Saurez.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul, brother Arthur Bourlard, Jr., and 2 sisters Wilda Hilton and Louise Boesdorfer.

Private services will be held. Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid is assisting with arrangements.
