Dolores L. (Castellani) DeRocchi

Mrs. Dolores L. DeRocchi, 88, of Taylorville, IL passed from this life on Friday, November 15, 2019 at her home with family by her side.

She was born in Jeisyville, IL September 28, 1931 the daughter of August and Angelina (Cambruzzi) Castellani.  She married Bruno A. DeRocchi June 28, 1952 in Kincaid, IL and he preceded her in death June 5, 2011.

Mrs. DeRocchi enjoyed playing Bocce Ball, going to the riverboats and spending time with family and friends.  She worked for many years on the square in Taylorville at stores including PN Hirsch, Sherman's and Jubelt's Bakery.

Surviving are a daughter Annetta (Steve) Goss of Noblesville, IN a son David DeRocchi of Taylorville, IL 3 grandchildren Abbey Goss, Michael Goss and Katy (Steve) Lively, 3 great grandchildren Amelia Goss, Whitman and Esme Lively along with many nieces, nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bruno, a sister Emma Fesser and a brother Primo Castellani.

Visitation for Mrs. DeRocchi will be held from 10 am till Noon on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 with funeral services immediately following at Masterson Funeral Home, Kincaid, IL.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, IL. Masterson Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Kincaid, IL has been entrusted with her care.
