Darlene G. Noreuil, 76, of Springfield, IL passed away at 7:00 a.m. Sunday, August 2, 2015 at St. John's Hospice, Springfield, IL.

She was born on April 15, 1939 the daughter of Joseph Frain and Evelyn Cook. She married Richard Fisher of Mt. Auburn, IL in 1958 and they were the loving parents of two daughters, Cathy Morris of Jefferson City, MO and Cara Fisher of Richfield, MN. On July 4, 1997 Darlene and Thomas Noreuil were married.

Darlene retired from Franklin Life and Horace Mann Insurance Companies. She graduated from Kincaid High School in 1957 and Tovey Grade School in 1953 where she achieved Valedictorian Class Honors. Darlene enjoyed travel, seeing the world, reading fiction, slot machines with close friends, cooking, PBS and MHZ mysteries, Cardinal games, and her grandson Dylan. Darlene was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandma and a friend to all.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Noreuil, 2 daughters Cathy Morris and Cara Fisher, a sister Marlene Willoughby, brother Joseph Frain, 2 half-brothers Mike and Barry Vetter, a grandson Dylan Morris and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, and a step sister Hattie (Houston) Warren preceded her in death.

A private family and close friends visitation will be held at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid, IL. Burial will follow in Horse Creek Cemetery, Pawnee, IL beside her loving parents. Memorials may be made to the Lakota Sioux Indians, St. Joseph's Indian School - 1301 N. Main - Chamberlain, SD 57325
