Dareck A. Owens, 49, of Decatur, IL., formerly of Tovey, IL., died Friday, June 17, 2011 near Boody, IL.

He was born in El Paso County, TX., March 7, 1962 the son of Don and Wanda J. "Susie" (Prince) Owens.

Dareck had formerly worked at ADM and PSI in Decatur.

Surviving are his father Don Owens of Nokomis, IL., 2 sisters Dawn Simmons of Delta, CO., Susan Lincoln of Westmoreland, CA., along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and 1 brother Aaron L. Owens in 1999.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial of ashes will be at a later date in Bethany Cemetery near Edinburg, IL.
