Mr. Charles W. (Chuck) Fleming, 79, of Kincaid, IL., passed away at 9:00 AM Tuesday, November 22, 2011 with his family near him, peacefully at home.

Mr. Fleming was born in Nokomis, IL., July 31, 1932 the son of Clarence and Gladys (Prestnell) Fleming. He married Shirley Collins July 28, 1956 in Taylorville, IL.

Charles was a Korean War Veteran. He worked for the Christian County Highway Department for 26 years. Chuck loved his family and friends, helping others and especially fishing.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years Shirley Fleming, 3 sons Butch (Rhonda) Fleming and Dan Fleming of Kincaid, IL., John (Melanie) Fleming of Auburn, GA., grandchildren Heather Jones, Aaron Larson, Dan Fleming, Jr., Matthew Fleming, Zachary Fleming, Jacob Fleming, Gabriel and Gracie Fleming, great-grandchildren Cody Vacker, C. J. Vacker, Jessie Vacker, Kaden Fleming, Kaylee Fleming, Hannah Fleming, Landon Fleming, Aiden Fleming and Isaac Fleming.

His parents and one brother preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM Friday November 25, 2011 at Masterson Funeral Home, Kincaid. Pastor Michael Mayberry officiated. Visitation was held at the funeral home for an hour before the service. Burial was in Walnut Hill Cemetery, West of Sharpsburg, IL.
