Bobby G Chance

Mr. Bobby G. Chance, 91, of Kincaid, IL passed from this life at 1:20 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2020 at St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, IL.

He was born in West Frankfort, IL December 12, 1928 the son of Clyde and Martha (Estes) Chance.  He married Fern Henley at the Kincaid United Methodist Church in 1947.

Mr. Chance was a member of: the Taylorville United Methodist Church, the ANSAR Shrine Temple in Springfield, IL and was a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge A.F & A.M. #122 in Taylorville.  He enjoyed his time being a snowbird in Florida and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife Fern Chance of Kincaid, IL 3 daughters Cheryl (David) Menossi of Taylorville, IL., Janet Meikle of Taylorville, IL Barbara (Bill) Mulvaney of Kincaid, IL grandchildren Chris Menossi, Chad Menossi, Angie (Eric) Gerlach, Lisa (Dustin Lush) Mulvaney, Danny (Maggie) Meikle, Jason Mulvaney great-grandchildren Jordyn Gerlach, Kaylee Gerlach, Owen Mulvaney, Greylon Mulvaney, Jalynn Lush, Millie Lush, Salem Meikle and Jace Meikle along with 2 brothers Jerry (Anna) Chance and Bruce (Paula) Chance all of Taylorville, and a sister Barbara Duncan of Ft. Wayne, IN. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private Graveside Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, IL.  Rev. Chad Foster officiated.  Masterson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Kincaid is honored to be entrusted with his care.
