Bertha Rose (Hildreth) Orlandi Fesser

Mrs. Bertha Rose Orlandi Fesser, 98, of Kincaid, IL passed from this life at 7:25 a.m. Thursday, December 18, 2025, at her home in Kincaid, IL.

She was born in Taylorville, IL September 2, 1927, the daughter of Roy J. and Lora F. (Kinsey) Hildreth.  Bertha married Frank Lee Orlandi on November 23, 1946, in Kincaid.  Mr. Orlandi preceded her in death on July 4, 1970.  She later married Robert E. Fesser on August 7, 1993, in Kincaid and he preceded her in death on June 25, 2005.

Bertha graduated from South Fork High School in Kincaid, with the class of 1945.  She was a faithful member of Midland United Methodist Church in Kincaid.  Among several places she worked were: 10 years at Peabody Mine #10 near Pawnee as their supply room clerk, 10 years at S & L Variety Store in Kincaid and several years at Country Place Antiques in Divernon.  She was a member of the Mother Singers in Kincaid years ago. 

Surviving are her 3 children Kerry Lee and her husband Robert “Bob” Buckler of Palmyra, Virginia, Frank Michael and his wife Donna Orlandi of Morrisonville, IL Lori and her husband Harold Henley of Tovey, IL 12 grandchildren, and a great many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Frank & Robert, 2 grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter.

Visitation for Mrs. Bertha Rose Orlandi Fesser will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Midland United Methodist Church – 600 Tower Place – Kincaid, IL.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the church with burial then taking place at Linwood Cemetery, Pana, IL.  Following the burial a funeral luncheon will be served at the Midland United Methodist in Kincaid.  Memorials may be left to: Midland United Methodist Church- POB 530 – Kincaid, IL 62540.   Condolences for those unable to attend may be left at mastersonfh.com.
