Benjamin Lee "Ben" Jack, 66, of Kincaid, IL died at 11:55 P.M. Monday, October 27, 2014 in Meadow Manor Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center, Taylorville, IL.

Ben was born in Springfield, IL March 5, 1948 the son of George M. "Tony" and Ramona C. (Collins) Jack.

Mr. Jack graduated from Springfield South East High School in 1968. He worked as a machinist at Allis Chalmers and later for Sasco Machine Shop both in Springfield. He was an avid NASCAR fan, loved hunting, fishing, camping and riding his Harley Davidson. Ben was of Presbyterian faith.

Surviving are his mother Ramona Jack of Kincaid, IL 4 daughters Michele Wells of Iowa, Carrie Shirley of Jerseyville, IL Nancy Bergschneider of Tovey, IL Ellen Barrington of Springfield, IL 4 stepchildren Kimberly Strickland and Sonja Geist both of Springfield, IL Mary of Litchfield and Bobby Bounds 2 brothers Myron (Pam) Jack of Decatur, IL Franklin (Kelly) Jack of Kincaid, IL a sister Grace Lornitis of Kincaid, IL along with many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

His father preceded him in death in 1996.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 30, 2014 in Masterson Funeral Home, Kincaid, IL. Visitation was held for one hour before the services at Masterson's. Burial followed in Edinburg Cemetery, Edinburg, Illinois.
