Mrs. April L. Anderson, 34, of Kincaid, IL passed away at 6:42 am Friday, October 5, 2012 at home.

She was born June 20, 1978 in Springfield, IL the daughter of Raymond Schmedeke and Debbie Basil.

April loved life, family, throwing birthday parties, her grandparents, and decorating for Halloween, among other things. She often cared more for others than taking care of herself.

She married Sean Anderson June 22, 1999 in Mobile, AL.

Surviving are her husband Sean Anderson of Kincaid, IL children Casey Anderson of Kincaid, IL Matthew (Heather) Anderson of Texas, Lissa Anderson, Dean Ellis, Tessa Anderson and Emma Anderson all of Kincaid, IL a grandson Logan, father Raymond (Susan) Schmedeke of Morrisonville, IL mother Debbie (Dale) Basil of Kincaid, IL siblings Brehia Alaria and Cody Basil of Kincaid, IL and Samantha Schmedeke and Luke Schmedeke of Morrisonville, IL maternal grandparents David and Meda Ann Durbin of Morrisonville, and a nephew Brandon Lawrence.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents.

Funeral services was held at 10 am Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Masterson Funeral Home, Kincaid. Rev. Chad Foster will officiated. Burial was in St. Maurice Cemetery, Morrisonville, IL Visitation was held Monday evening from 5 to 8 pm at Masterson's. Memorials may be made to the family.
