Anton "Bo" L. Hubert

Mr. Anton L. “Bo” Hubert, 89, of Tovey, IL passed from this life at 1:50 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Country Lane Memory Care Assisted Living in Riverton, IL

He was born in Tovey, IL May 22, 1931 the son of Anton and Louisa (Cachera) Hubert.  Bo married Mary F. Williams Moore in Mt. Vernon, IL July 16, 1964 and she preceded him January 11, 1999.  He later married Ruby D. Davis Ernest May 19 2001 in Taylorville, IL and she preceded him October 6, 2017.

Mr. Hubert work many jobs through out the years but worked longest at Peabody Mine #10 near Pawnee from where he retired.  He enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, taking care of his yard, woodworking and especially spending time with his family.

Surviving are a daughter Linda Kalb of Springfield, IL a son Darrel (Cheryl) Moore, Jr., of Tovey, IL 12 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren, a brother Fred (Ruth) Hubert of Escondido, CA along with many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 wives, a daughter Imogene Moore Vaughn 3 brothers Henry, Bobby & Victor Hubert and a sister Louise Kazenske Dobson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Masterson Funeral Home, Kincaid, IL.  Rev. Louis Kunz will officiate.  Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Taylorville.  Visitation for Mr. Anton “Bo” Hubert will be held for one hour before his service at the funeral home.
