Amanda Rose Hanson

Ms. Amanda Rose Hanson, 26, of Tovey, IL., was called home to our Lord at 10:58 P.M. Thursday, July 11, 2024, from Taylorville Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Springfield, IL on October 9, 1997, the daughter of Lori Hanson.

Amanda was a proud member of the Kincaid Church of God and the KCOG Youth Group.  She graduated from South Fork Community High School.  Amanda enjoyed: bowling, swimming, sharing her recipes, concerts and country music, conversing with all of her friends on Facebook, boat rides, and the Prairieland Heritage Museum.  She loved her family.

Surviving are her mother Lori Hanson and step dad Jay Wahl of Tovey, IL, a brother Nathan Williams of Tovey, IL, a sister Katherine Strode and husband Jeramie of Chatham, IL, her grandmother Patricia Kulavic of Springfield, IL, 2 uncles Anthony (Tinia) Kulavic of Dixon, IL, and Joseph (Victoria) Kulavic of Belvidere, IL, an aunt Cheryl (Fred) Kulavic-Knope of Chatham along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by an uncle Scott Kulavic, her grandfather Joseph Kulavic and grandmother Rose Mary Kulavic.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, July 19, 2024, at the Kincaid Church of God, 120 Market Street, Kincaid, IL.  Visitation will be held at the Church from 9 AM to 10:30 AM on the day of the services.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Springfield, IL.  Memorials in loving memory of Amanda Rose Hanson are suggested to her family and will be designated at a later date.  Masterson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.  Condolences for those not able to attend may be left at mastersonfh.com and will be forwarded to her family.
