Teresa Hanlon, 49, of Tovey Illinois passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in her home at 9:56 a.m. on Sunday, July 16, 2017. 

She was born in Springfield Illinois on May 17, 1968 the daughter of John and Marilyn (Banfield) Steele.  Teresa married Pat Hanlon on March 22, 1986 in Taylorville, Illinois. 

Teresa was a loving wife and mother.  She enjoyed spending weekends at their place in Naples Illinois fishing, boating, and golf carting.  Her grandson was her life.  She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. 

Surviving are her husband Pat of Tovey, IL, two daughters Bridgette Steele of Jacksonville, IL and Andrea Hanlon of San Diego, CA.  One grandson Kolton Maurer of Jacksonville, IL.  Her Parents John and Marilyn Steele of Nokomis, IL.    Two sisters Jamie (Jeff) Kirkendoll of Kincaid, IL and Tracie (Mike) Pounds of Hewittsville, IL.  A Brother Johnny Steele of Taylorville, IL.  Two brothers-in-law Scott Seman of Florence, IL and Richard (Rhonda) Seman and two sisters-in-law Mary Dawn Hanlon of Tovey, IL and Laura (David) Castleburry of Roodhouse, IL..

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid, IL.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Pawnee, IL.  A visitation for Teresa will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Masterson Funeral Home.
