Mrs. Geraldine Roberta “Boots” Lancaster, 97, of Kincaid, IL passed away at 2:55 P.M. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL.

She was born on Sunday, September 14, 1919 in Spring Valley, IL the daughter of Herman “Duke” and Celina (Collier) Lisse.  Geraldine married Riley Eugene Lancaster, June 24, 1936 in Kincaid, IL.  Mr. Lancaster preceded her in death December 2, 1980.

Mrs. Lancaster was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Taylorville, IL where she served as a Deacon and active member for many years.  Geraldine worked in the Cardinal Factory in Kincaid during W.W.II.  During the 50’s and 60’s she and her husband ran a grocery store and later the Kincaid Bowling Alley.  She had also worked at Ray’s Place in Taylorville and later at The Hut in Bulpitt.  Boots was an avid bowler for over 50 years.  She very much enjoyed bowling on leagues during the week and traveling with her bowling buddies.  She had also been active in various softball leagues during her youth.  She loved spending time with her abundant family and would often smile and say “Look what I started”.

Surviving are: one son Herman Gary “Buzz” and wife Barbara Lancaster of Kincaid, IL 2 daughters Candyce Lynette “CanDee” and husband Wayne Luttrell of Kincaid, IL., Cynthia Michelle and husband Dean Wallace of Girard, IL., grandchildren Kelly, Gary, Peggy, Kathy, Brenda Kay, Quinton, Ann, Robin, Bob, David, Jacque, Herman, John, Jesse, Colby, and Jordyn, 26 great grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 1 daughter Charna Roberta Collier in 2006.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Masterson Funeral Home, Kincaid, IL.  Pastor Michael Evanchak will officiate.  Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, IL.  Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Masterson Funeral Home.  Memorials in memory of Mrs. Lancaster may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 116 E. Franklin St. Taylorville, IL 62568.
