Andrew "Andy" Bucshon

Mr. Andrew “Andy” Bucshon, 88, of Kincaid, IL passed away at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at St. John’s Hospital, Springfield.

He was born October 28, 1929 in Kincaid, IL the son of John and Mary (Schmetski) Bucshon, Sr.

Andrew married Letha L. Beaty August 13, 1960 at First United Methodist Church, Taylorville, IL

Mr. Bucshon was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church and Edwin Corpin American Legion Post #905 both in Kincaid, IL.  Andy proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.  He retired from PPG Industries at Mt. Zion after 29 years.  Mr. Bucshon enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife Letha of Kincaid, IL a daughter Susan (Lloyd) Hovey of Springfield, IL a son Robert Bucshon of Kincaid, IL grandchildren Sean Hovey, Erin (Nick) Schafer, Morgan Hovey and fiancé Andy Graham along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers John Jr., Joseph, Frank, Louie, & Bill Bucshon, and 2 sisters Mary Takacs and Elizabeth Crovetti.

Andrew’s wishes were to be cremated.  Masterson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Kincaid is assisting his family with the arrangements.  A celebration of his life will be held at a later date and will be announced in the newspapers.
