Jessica Lair

Jessica Michelle Lair was born June 14, 1978, in Springfield, IL. She passed away to be with the Lord in Heaven on April 16, 2024. She is the mother to Hailey Swick, soon to be wife of Grant Graham, Akili Swick, Trinity Swick, Easton Horan, and Step-mother to Lakyn Horan. Her partner in this life was Ryan Horan. 

Jessica is the Daughter of Kenneth J. Lair & Patrica J. Fitzgerald Lair of Girard IL. She is the sister to, William J. Bridwell, Michael R. Lair, and Jennifer Boster. 

Her nieces and nephews are; Katie, Breann, Conor, Calob, Jadyn, Kylie, Justice, and Koby.  

She is the granddaughter of Alfred & Hallie VanHuss Lair of Virden, IL, And granddaughter of Ruth C. Cherry Fitzgerald of Girard, IL. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Francis “Fuzz” Fitzgerald. 

As said by family, Jessica was a bright ray of sunshine, a rainbow, and loved by many. She absolutely loved to be out in nature. She had the capability to make everyone she came in contact with her know they were special and important. She had the biggest heart and her kindness to people was a quality that came so natural to her.  

A Celebration of Life is being planned at a later date tentatively scheduled for June 14th.
