Bonita (Huston) Deck

Mrs. Bonita Deck, 65, of Pana formerly of Tennessee and the Midland area, passed from this life at 1:17 P.M. Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, IL.

She was born August 13, 1958, in Springfield, IL the daughter of Bob and Bonnie (Ray) Huston.

Bonita married John Deck in Kincaid on July 13, 1987.

Mrs. Deck had formerly worked at: CoLinx and Lowes in Crossville, TN., and also for the State of Illinois.  She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandchildren and along with lunching and shopping with friends. She was an avid collector.

Surviving are her husband John of Pana, IL., 3 children Mandy Sexson and her husband John Griffiths of Bulpitt, IL., Brandy (husband Brian) Goatley and Jeremy Deck all of Pana, IL., 7 grandchildren Adrian Tollett, Brandon Griffiths, Brianna Griffiths, Skye Halleman, Tyler Halleman, Emma Deck and Lyric Deck, 4 great grandchildren Rayne, Addilyn, Isabella, and Isaiah, a sister Cheryl Moore of Buffalo, IL., 2 brothers Robert (wife Crystal) Huston of Jeisyville, IL., Shawn (wife Debbie) Huston of Morrisonville, IL., along with several nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation for Mrs. Bonita Deck will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 12 noon on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid.  Funeral services will follow starting at noon.  Burial will take place at a later date.
