Terry M. Horner, 63 of Jacksonville IL passed away Saturday November 18, 2017 at his home.  Mr. Horner was born on April 3, 1954 in Marmaduke Arkansas, the son of Marvin and Juanita Odhum Horner.  Terry Married Darlene Wise on December 16, 2007 in Jacksonville.  She survives.

Mr. Horner was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam war.  He served 3 years on the USS Franklin D Roosevelt aircraft carrier.  He was a member of the Midwest Hackney Association as well as the Mississippi Valley Morgan Horse Club. 

Surviving along with his wife Darlene are two daughters Sarah Juanita Horner and Leslie Ann Horner both of Ventura California.  Two grandchildren Sylas James Horner and Julitte Hazel Polk also of California, three sisters Maxine Nelson of Paragould Arkansas, Sandy Kay (Don) White of Little Rock Arkansas and Janice (Bob) Plante of Rector Arkansas, one brother Harold Horner of Olive Branch Mississippi, along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers Eugene, Larry, and Wayne. 

A memorial gathering will be held from 3 to 6 pm Sunday, November 26, 2017 followed with words of comfort from Dr. Eugene W. Mathes at Masterson Funeral Home and Cremation Kincaid, IL.  Full military graveside rites will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2017 at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.
