Mr. Kenneth Lee Blake, 56, of Taylorville, IL., formerly of Kincaid, IL passed away at 7:15 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2016 at home.

He was born in Ft. Knox, KY. December 1, 1959 the son of Darrell and Matilda (Ferguson) Blake. Kenny married Carlynn Chapman in 1994 in Aurora Illinois.

Kenny served in the US Army and is a former member of the DAV in Springfield IL. He attended Bible Baptist Church of Pana IL and also had worked as a truck driver.

Surviving, along with his wife Carlynn are children Sherry (Gary) Giger of Champaign IL, Kenneth (Jennifer) Blake Jr. of Oregon, IL, Amber (William) Coady of Taylorville IL, Mark Clark of Virden IL, Cory Blake with companion Camie of Taylorville IL, Preston Blake and companion Anna of Taylorville IL, brothers William and David Blake of Kincaid IL and Keith Blake of Taylorville IL, Sisters Joyce McCluney in Georgia, Suzie Jones of Kincaid IL, Lela Martin of Golden Del, WA. along with 13 grandchildren and a great many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his dad Darrell, daughter Brittany Blake, two grandchildren baby Blake and Aden Butkauskas.

A visitation for Mr. Blake will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Masterson Funeral Home, Kincaid, IL. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 22 at Masterson's with Rev. Louis J. Kunz officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery, Rural Edinburg, Illinois
