Maxine Louise (Guidani) Lake

Mrs. Maxine L. (Guidani) Lake, 82, of Marissa, formerly of Tovey, IL died Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Life’s Journey Senior Living Center, Taylorville, IL.

She was born in Tovey, IL June 15, 1935 the daughter of Max & Lena (Benedetti) Guidani.  Maxine married Verne Lake in Chester IL June 13, 1977 and he preceded her in death September 12, 1994.

Mrs. Lake enjoyed Sewing, Quilting, Reading and especially spending time with her family.

Surviving are: 2 sons Mark (Anita) Lemanski of Taylorville, IL Mike Lemanski of Marissa, IL 3 grandchildren Jennifer (Randy) Prince of Harristown, IL Amanda (Chris) Dempsey of Taylorville, IL and Wesley (Amber) Lemanski of Perryville, MO 2 brothers Alfred (Emma) Guidani of VanBuren, Ark. Dominic (Eva) Guidani of Taylorville, IL and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Verne, and a nephew Keith Guidani.

Private family services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Masterson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Kincaid, IL.  Rev Bob Turner will officiate.  Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Masterson’s.
