Mrs. Geraldine “Jerry” Drnjevic, 90, of Bulpitt, passed away at 9:20 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Life’s Journey Senior Care, Taylorville, IL.

She was born in Stiritz, IL on December 18, 1926 the daughter of John R. Sr. and Mamie B. (Seagle) Lucas.   Geraldine married Antone “Tony” Drnjevic on October 25, 1945 in Springfield, IL and he preceded her in death February 18, 1996.

“Jerry”, as she was affectionately known by all, was a member of Midland United Methodist Church, Kincaid.  At one time she worked as an Avon Representative.  She loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are: one son Michael (Cheryl) Drnjevic of Jeisyville, IL 3 grandchildren Nicki (Scott) Volpi of Iowa, Travis (Mandy) Burke of Taylorville, IL and Brian (Robin) Drnjevic of Jeisyville, IL. 5 great-grandchildren, her siblings Vivian (Earl) Tippitt of Clinton, IL, Mary Prior of Sterling, IL, Ludy Molohon of Southport, NC, Joyce (Fred) Anontelli of Springfield, IL, Dorothy (Dean) Greenwood of Florence, KY, Fred (Donna) Lucas of Harlingen, TX, and Judy (Dan) Pittman of Springfield, IL 2 sisters-in-law Delores Lucas of Jeisyville, IL and Anita Lucas of Kincaid, IL  along with many nieces, nephews and friends. 

She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband Tony, a son Thomas Drnjevic, a daughter Terry Burke, 4 brothers Paul S. Lucas, John R. "JR" Lucas, Raymond Lucas, Bill Lucas, and 2 sisters Lillian Johnson, and Nancy Buschon.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2017 at Masterson Funeral Home, Kincaid, IL.  Pastor Steve Smith will officiate.  Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery, rural Edinburg, IL.  Visitation for Mrs. Drnjevic will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, at Masterson Funeral Home.
